Here at Stoneleigh, we aim to provide all our guests with the best possible experience we can offer.
We are situated on the beautiful south coast of England in Devon, surrounded by breathtaking sea views, whimsical woodland walks, and rolling hills in areas of outstanding natural beauty.
The Cottages
All our cottages are furnished to the highest quality. Come rain or shine you can enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay.

1. Pre-arrival
You can book your stay online at www.sidmouthcottages.co.uk.
Once you have booked you will receive a confirmation email from Bill and Deb with further details about your booking. This email informs you about how to get the key and how to pay for your pet if you want to bring one.
Keys for the cottages are in small lockboxes next to the doors, we will supply you with the code for your respective cottage before arrival.
2. Arrival and check-in
On arrival, use the code that we sent you to open the safe for the front door.
Don't worry, If you need assistance we are close at hand to help you.
If you arrive late at night it may be dark and you will need a torch to see the key safe combination lock.
3. Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Every guest bedroom and en-suite will be fully sanitised before each stay.
Fabric items such as mattresses, pillows, cushions, carpet, chairs and other furniture are sprayed with an approved sanitising solution, which is effective in killing Covid-19 but otherwise harmless to you and us.
All surfaces are thoroughly wiped down and cleaned prior to your arrival.
Linens and towels are professionally washed on high heat, with added sanitisation.
Our housekeeping teams will wear the appropriate PPE as and when necessary during cleaning.
4. Spa / Hot Tub (No32 - Evangeline only)
Please note: If you are using the hot tub during your stay, please read the general safety notice and wipe down the touchpoints after use - the hot tub will be cleaned down prior to and after your stay.
The hot tub is optional and is only available when you book No32 Evangeline.
If you want to use the Hot Tub during your stay in Evangeline you must book at least 48hrs before your arrival.
5. Check- out
We kindly ask that you consider our cleaners when checking out, please take all of your rubbish to the bin area at the front of the site and leave the cottage in the safest possible manner for our team coming in to clean after you.
Please strip your bedding and put any dirty laundry including towels in the bathtub.
(NOT PILLOW PROTECTORS OR MATTRESS PROTECTORS)
These will be cleaned separately with a stronger solution
Please feel free to take the hand sanitisers for you in the cottages.
